West Reading Elm Street Paints the Town

Elm Street Spotlight

October 10, 2011

West Reading Elm Street's recent "Let's Paint the Town" project was an impressive success! This Elm Street neighborhood undertook painting the exteriors of 10 properties on South Sixth Avenue in Reading, PA. Volunteers associated with the United Way's Day of Caring helped pitch in, according to Dean Rohrbach, Elm Street Manager and the brainchild of the colorful neighborhood project.

Additionally, West Reading Elm Street's Let's Paint the Town event was selected by Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful (KPB) as one of 10 recipients across the commonwealth to receive 40 gallons of Pittsburgh Paint and $200 in supplies from Home Depot.
