The Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is accepting résumés for the position of Main Street Manager.

The successful candidate will lead and grow the many projects, committees and business relationships already established, and will work with property owners and developers on adaptive reuse, new construction, façade improvement and business recruitment. Main Street Manager, Blairsville, PA

Did you know that Blairsville claimed the number one slot on the Young Preservationists Association of Pittsburgh’s Best Preservation Opportunity list?

The Blairsville Downtown Main Street program is seeking an individual to work full-time to continue the development and improvement of its downtown. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating activities already in motion, as well as helping with the development of a plan that will take Blairsville into the future.

This position’s responsibilities will also include obtaining sponsorship for special events, promoting public awareness and use of downtown Blairsville, serving as liaison to the borough council and committees of the organization, working to recruit and retain new businesses, and obtaining and administering federal and state funding, in addition to other funding streams.
