PDC will offer a NAP (Neighborhood Assistance Program) Workshop and the Downtown 101 on Monday, February 23 at the Rural Electric Association Building located at 212 Locust Street in downtown Harrisburg. Both workshops are in-person, one-day trainings.
The NAP Workshop on February 23, running from 9:00 am-4:30 pm will focus on navigating Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program and related redevelopment funding opportunities. The NAP Tax Credit Program is an important tool in your community revitalization toolbox. With $72 million currently available statewide, this timely training will explore how communities can position projects for success, understand program requirements, and strengthen competitive applications. In addition to expert-led presentations and panel discussions, the workshop will feature a new interactive pitch session, allowing participants to share a project idea and receive constructive feedback from DCED specialists and past funding recipients. The Downtown 101, on February 23 from 9:30 am-3:30 pm, is for new Main and Elm Street Managers and their staff. This course is taken prior to attending the Community Revitalization Academy (CRA) trainings and is requirement for Main Street Matters Designated Programs. There is no charge for Main Street Matters Designated Programs. A fee of $50 will be charged to PDC Members and $100 to Non-PDC Members. Register HERE!
Cap off the day of training on Monday, February 23 with a Winter Manager’s Meeting Network Gathering from 4:45-7:45 pm. The gathering will take place at Stocks on 2nd in the rear meeting room. Stocks on 2nd is located at 211 N 2nd Street in Harrisburg. Join fellow Main and Elm Street Managers and Blueprint Teams for complimentary hors d’oeuvres. This event is free to attend for PDC Members and Blueprint Community Teams; we just ask that you please register. Alcohol will be available at the bar for purchase on your own. The restaurant is open until 9 pm if you are looking for a full meal, you are welcome to stay for dinner. We hope you’ll join us for a small gathering of those coming into town the evening prior to the Manager’s meeting.
The 2026 Winter Manager’s Meeting & Leadership Forum will take place on Tuesday, February 24. The Manager’s Meeting will be held from 8:30 am-4:30 pm and the Leadership Forum from 10:30 am-noon, both at Harrisburg University located at 326 Market Street in Harrisburg. Those attending the Leadership Forum are welcome to attend the full day session. This full-day meeting is designed for community revitalization program managers and is required for DCED-designated communities and to receive accreditation.
The meeting is provided at no charge for Main Street Matters designated programs. A $50 registration fee applies to PDC members, and attendees must be current PDC members to participate. Breakfast will be provided by PDC, with lunch on your own in downtown Harrisburg—recommended lunch options will be shared in advance. Parking is available in the lower level of the university.

For those coming in for the two days of trainings or early for the Manager’s Meeting/Leadership Forum, a room block has been created at the Hilton Harrisburg located in downtown Harrisburg on 1 North 2nd Street.
