Lewisburg Neighborhoods is seeking a part-time Program Manager/Director to coordinate neighborhood revitalization activities in Lewisburg.
The position requires the ability to effectively communicate with the public and various committees while continuing multiple revitalization initiatives currently underway. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of planning, economic development, fundraising, volunteer and nonprofit management, advertising and marketing, and state funding programs. Candidates should have strong computer skills, including basic office management as well as graphics. The Program Manager/Director must be energetic, self-motivated, imaginative, organized and able to work independently. The Program Manager/Director will be responsible for administrative duties including arranging meetings, seeking funding sources, writing and submitting grants, preparing various reports, and budgeting. A college degree with related experience is preferred.

Lewisburg Neighborhoods is a 501(c)(3) that was founded in 2006 as a collaborative effort of the Borough of Lewisburg and Bucknell University to respond to challenges in the Bull Run Neighborhood. Lewisburg Neighborhoods works in collaboration with the Borough and the Bucknell community to create a vision that preserves natural settings and streetscapes, strengthens ties among neighbors, and improves quality of life.
The current priority areas defined by the LN Board of Directors are the Bull Run Greenway Plan, the Borough Flood Impact Task Force, Walk It! Bike It! Lewisburg, the Lewisburg River Town Team, Neighborhood Support, Promotions, and Organizational Sustainability.
