Calling all Main Street Programs! Congress needs to hear from you today.
Dear Main Streeters,
As the country manages through another surge in COVID-19 cases, we are appealing to federal lawmakers on behalf of Main Streets and their small businesses.
In the weeks and months ahead, it’s crucial that we continue to lift our collective voice about the challenges facing small businesses and organizations that support them, and the dire consequences for our Main Streets if more funding is not made available.
To that end, I have two urgent requests for you today.
First, please take this brief survey about how your organization is faring. Having data and stories from organizations like yours helps us build a stronger case and design targeted messaging and programming. The survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. We are pushing for immediate funding relief for Main Streets, so please complete the survey by 12/9.
Second, we need to hear directly from small businesses about what they’re experiencing and what they anticipate the months ahead will look like. We are conducting our first ever text messaging-based survey for small businesses and we need your help in getting the message out. We hope you will share this message with all small businesses in your district. See below for sample messaging for you to share via email and on social.
