This month, we’re excited to host a roundtable on Active Transportation with a special opportunity to learn more about what you can do to improve safety and accessibility for all on your streets.  There are things your organization can do, things individuals can do, things municipalities can do, and things businesses can do.  We will have a person with us from This App Saves Lives (TASL) who can speak to the last opportunity in particular.  Are you ready for events, planning, policy updates, applying for design or implementation grants, or working to educate the community and build support for walking and biking?  Let’s talk!  This will be more broadly open, not just to PDC members.  Invite your committee leads and Active Transportation-supporting businesses.  BTW, that does not just mean bike shops: any business in town can support safer streets through TASL or by helping to promote walking and biking events, initiatives, and awareness.
